As part of my "Twists and Turns" range, this lampshade (or ceiling light shade) will add a colourful, countryside pop of colour to any room in your house.
I have used an image of my painting "Gold Hill, Shaftesbury" which is printed three times on the fabric to create this lampshade. Full of quirky, fun and colourful details, it will add a contemporary feature to any room and will allow you to bring a bit of this beautiful scene indoors. The famous steeply cobbled hill, picture-postcard cottages and green hills of Dorset all add up to make this a cheerful and cosy splash of colour to enhance your interior decor.
To make the shade, the image is printed onto fabric and lined with white PVC which has passed the glow wire test carried out by the lighting association. Each cylindrical shade is handmade and measures 18 cm high with a 20 cm diameter. Lampshades will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder or Edison Screw (E27) lamp holder (by simply removing the converter plug in the centre of the fitting). I would recommend using a 40 - 60 watt bulb, but preferably a low energy one as they are cool to the touch.
