This elegant and contemporary white porcelain mug has been digitally printed with my image "Beach Cafe". As part of my "Twists and Turns" range of artwork and gifts, the mug features my quirky painting of the cafe on Mudeford Beach at Hengistbury Head in Dorset surrounded by colourful beach huts and facing the jetty where the ferry boat stops. The image is printed centrally round the mug with two matching panels from the image on either side running up to the handle. The title "Beach Cafe" is printed in a soft grey font running upwards between one of these panels and the main central image.
My original watercolour painting has been scanned to a very high resolution resulting in a crisp, detailed and colourful finish to the image that is digitally printed onto the mug under a high temperature which then makes the finished mug microwave and dishwasher safe although washing frequently in this way may cause the colours to slightly fade after a few years.
The mug measures 102 mm tall with a 68 mm diameter and is straight sided, glossy and contemporary in appearance.
Why not make up your own set of mugs by choosing from others in my "Twists and Turns" range or pairing with some coasters too? They would certainly make any humble cup of tea more interesting.
