This elegant and contemporary white porcelain mug has been digitally printed with my image of "Arrival at Corfe Castle" in Dorset. As part of my "Twists and Turns" range of artwork and gifts, the mug features my quirky image of the beautifully restored heritage railway which runs from Wareham to Swanage in Dorset. A steam train is showing pulling into the station with the village and castle ruins in the background. The image is printed twice round the mug so it is visible however the mug is being held. The title "Arrival at Corfe Castle" is printed in a soft grey font running up the side of one of the images.
My original watercolour painting has been scanned to a very high resolution resulting in a crisp, detailed and colourful finish to the image that is digitally printed onto the mug under a high temperature which then makes the finished mug microwave and dishwasher safe although washing frequently in this way may cause the colours to slightly fade after a few years.
The mug measures 102 mm tall with a 68 mm diameter and is straight sided, glossy and contemporary in appearance.
Why not make up your own set of mugs by choosing from others in my "Twists and Turns" range or pairing with some coasters too? They would certainly make any humble cup of tea more interesting.
